Canadian, — Tenesh Webber works in abstract black and white photography. She makes photograms, camera-less images printed in a darkroom, using objects that she creates in her studio. An extension of this work is her charcoal drawings. Webber has had solo exhibits at Margaret Thatcher Projects, Yossi Milo Gallery, and A.I.R. Gallery in New York City, and at Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston, MA. Grants awarded include an Art Matters Inc Fellowship, a Photography Fellowship from The New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and The Sustainable Arts Foundation, Visual Arts Award. Webber was awarded residencies at ESKFF Residency at Mana Contemporary, The Hermitage Artist Retreat, and MacDowell , where in 2019, she was a Evelyn Stefansson Nef Fellow, and in 2020, a Robert and Stephanie Olmsted Fellow. Webber received a BFA from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada.
