About
Brazilian, b. 1988 — Natália Cavalcante (b.1988, Brazil), is based in Los Angeles, CA and has a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Arts from UFES (BR). Natalia is dedicated to painting, drawing, and has recently been exploring new materials. She is interested in color and how forms are represented in the immediatness of making. In her works, she seeks to explore perceptions of seeing, being and what is imagined. Natália recently had her work exhibited in an online solo show – Stopovers, Meeting and Departure Points by Uncool Artist. Her work has been exhibited at EUA, at Los Angeles Notebook, Jacob’s West (2018), The Non-Objective Moment, Gallery 825 (2018), NYFA - IAP Benefit Exhibition (2017), Lorimoto – Archimedes’ Bathtub (2015). And in Brazil at MAES – Imaginar Geografias (2016), Homero Massena Gallery - BASE 2 plataforma de experimentação (2011), among others non-profit spaces in Brazil.
