Description
The imagery in the series "Rut" is a derived from memories of decaying tire tracks in snow and Earth. The act of mark-making in drawing is paralleled by the marks we make on the Earth as we move through space. The inclined plane of the ground sits askew to the picture plane, creating tension, as the binary colors (black and white) alternate between foreground and background. Unframed.
