Description
Koenig’s paintings are meticulously constructed. She uses hundreds of layers of paint, densely applied, producing tactile and seductive surfaces, and creating both a sense of physical depth and a visceral emotional connection. In this series of paintings, the surfaces seem to reference both miniature universes, and microcosmic growth forms.
