Description
Stoneware ceramic with glazes. This sculpture is part of a series of ceramic works based on the rhyton, an ancient Eurasian animal-shaped offering vessel. Through sculptural reinterpretation of these vessels and their integration into video and performances, I am seeking to explore how ancient forms may play roles in new ceremonies or rituals around climate change and other current environmental concerns.
