Description
Who is a true world leader? We commonly say that a picture is worth a thousand words. It beholds a visual message that a viewer can easily interpret. Yet what about images that are captured in a way that conveys a particular message, skewed to tell a specific and perhaps biased narrative. This series explores the nature of four different images of the same event (G7 Summit in Charlevoix, Canada). And how each press team strived to 'place' its leader as the dominant figure at the table. This series was realised while in residence at the Banff Centre. Watercolor on Awagami Cotton Paper Unframed
