Description

Edition 2 of 3 From a series of prints that layer architectural renderings of demolished buildings, maps of places that have been altered by urbanization or natural disasters, and photographs and writing from extant Yizkor* books. Through the layering of architecture, maps, and memory in this work, I investigate how displacement writes itself into generational consciousness. The resulting compositions construct new, fantastical spaces that offer possibilities for healing and remembrance. *memorial books written by survivors to commemorate people and places destroyed during the Holocaust.
