Nylon and silk on found antenna. I was in a very bad habit of stealing antennae from local cars, a habit that was put to rest one Memorial Day Weekend when I tried to unscrew the thing off a green Nissan and its hopped-up inhabitants got out and beat me nearly into a coma yelling Stupid Faggot at me and I'm being pummelled on alternating sides of my head and trying to yell into the ground I'm Not A Faggot and then I thought that wasn't really the argument I was going to win, my protestations being irrelevant, so I started to scream because I realized I was going to die, and they got bored with nearly killing me and they left. It would be weeks before my friends would recognize my face. This example of stolen antennae, however, was from a very large truck whose occupant probably maintained a small firearm in the glove box or under the seat but fortunately for me and this artwork they were away at the time and no hound was left to bark, the yellow silk bought honestly from another artist who lived around the corner from Spuyten Duyvil before it was a bar and well after it was a town or an idea of an expectorating devil, it's curtains, plural.
