Description
One of Miyamori's earlier tree rubbings made in her first studio in the United States, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2003. These tree rubbings represent specific times and places in her memory, made with handmade charcoal she either finds from worksites, or makes herself, against a handmade Japanese washi paper. The washi is encased within a custom, hand made frame. 17.5 x 14.5 x 1 inches with frame.
