Description
Framed in 14"x14" graphite metal frame on black mount; drawing is 8.25"h x 11.75"w on black paper. This series originated during an artist residency at Cill Rialaig in County Kerry, Ireland. My studio there was a pre-famine stone cottage overlooking the Atlantic, with a peat stove for heat. Each collage drawing in this series began with peat ash on black paper, reminiscent of the stars.
