Description
40 x 50", Archival Pigment Print, Mounted to Sintra. Edition of 5. Invasive species have continually been of interest to me because of their ability to completely take over the environment. This image combines various focuses and distances around a tree dying from the invasive vine, Kudzu. The color and mix of positive/negative elements, create an image teetering between surrealism and realism, focusing more on the loss of the grandiose tree to the vine.
