Description
in Farther the marks array in linear formation. There is an interplay among the colors, a back and forth and in and out with the atmospheric field.Here I applied a green ground to the wood in a transparent layer, rubbing it in and picking up vestiges of the grain and pattern underneath. When I drew my brush across that ground I was careful about placement, and yet I believe that the accidental and the deliberate together result in the mystery of the image.
