Description
This piece evolved slowly with layers of paint and marks of color revealing and obscuring the wood surface and paint underneath. The layered color creates luminosity and varied point and counterpoint with themes that repeat and intersect. Rhythm and light, subtle changes and movement throughout prompted me to name it Fugue, after some of my favorite music by Bach, who I frequently listen to in the studio.
