Frances Waite "more tub love", 2017

EWS presents these original works on paper, about Frances Wait's void by exhibiting a reality that never really happened, in an objectified world of voyeurs. Now, at the precipice of female empowerment, and the breakdown of patriarchal standards, she portrays an anomaly of a feminist’s vulnerability. Waite explains, “I draw myself into my living room under a painting I never made of a boy I don't know giving me an orgasm I won't have.” She ‘Slaps the Void’ in real life, (finding a space to exist and move between) while reliving joy or “pain in million different ways.”
