Description
This is an unframed woodcut print on Japanese paper. It was created by carving a block of wood, inking the surface and printing the image using a printing press. The imagery was inspired by the desert dome, a geodesic glass structure at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE. The work explores the tension between nature and artifice. This work on paper is ready to ship, and it will be shipped rolled in a tube and can easily be flattened again for framing. This print can be framed on request for an additional charge.
