Description
This sculpture is made up of 12 figures and meant to be viewed in the round. The figures become their own form of building block thinking about the foundation of our bodies (our legs) like the foundation of a mobile home (cinderblocks). The materials I use relate back to my upbringing in a mobile home park (wood paneling, gravel, block). This work brings in references to historical sculpture, gender and sexuality, and social mobility.
