Please allow 2 weeks for production. –––– These digital collages reconstitute domestic interior scenes as containers for psychological mindscapes. Mirroring the anxieties, aches, and coping mechanisms I encountered during 2020-21, I feel adrift within time and space. Yet, my surroundings still guide and partition every movement. Inner lives play out across the surfaces of these seemingly static locations. Rupturing the mental fence separating perspective and feeling, the remixed compositions of these interior spaces illustrate the subjectivity of perception. This work remaps the familiar, delving into how these private — yet publicly influenced — environments shape human existence.
