About
Alice Garik, an artist based in Brooklyn, NY, uses the painterly techniques of palladium printing to propose a visual meditation on mending our severed connection to nature. Garik's work is in the collections of The Brooklyn Museum, The New York Public Library, among other corporate and private collections. She has executed illustrations for book covers and magazines. her work has been on the sets of several popular movies and TV Series. Work from her current project was exhibited in 2017 in "Tattooed New-York" at The New-York Historical Society in NYC. Recently in 2021 she exhibited online in Floresta magazine in a curated feature titled "(Nature in) Lockdown". Her work on the ocean was part of the curated exhibit "The Art of Coney Island" at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition. Alice's work was part of a curated exhibit, "Oc.cu.pied" at Atelier Canal in Brooklyn.
