Adam Cable builds collages and image-based sculptures with appropriated JPGs, reframing the traditional American home as an active transmitter of social and cultural values across bodies, spaces, and surfaces. He received an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media in 2017 from the School of Visual Arts, returning to his undergraduate alma mater the same year for a solo exhibition, “Real Realities” (University of North Carolina, Asheville). Cable has presented in several group exhibitions including “BOTANICAL” (Local Project, NYC), "Art and Revelry" (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, FR), PULSE Miami Beach (with SVA Galleries), and "Place Title Here" (The Plaxall Gallery, NYC), a three-person exhibition curated by Dana Stirling. In 2020, he was a semifinalist in The Print Center's 95th Annual International Competition (Philidelphia).
