Adam Cable



Adam Cable makes collages with appropriated JPEGs, studying how social and cultural values reside within the function and experience of everyday spaces. He has shown in several group and solo exhibitions, including at the University of North Carolina, Asheville; PULSE Art Fair, Miami; Local Project, NYC; and The Plaxall Gallery, NYC. Cable has an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (2017) and BFA from the University of North Carolina, Asheville (2013). Recently, he was named a semi-finalist in The Print Center's 95th ANNUAL International Competition (Philadelphia), co-curated an exhibition with Float Photo Magazine, and will have work in Secrets of the Friendly Wood, a publication by The Wassaic Project. He lives and works in Ridgewood, Queens, NY.
